Something is lost and it cannot be found.” That’s the fun little Catholic prayer to the patron saint of lost objects. I can personally attest it works!
Until earlier this year, I did not know that St. Anthony de Padua was actually Portuguese and born right here in Lisbon...always thought he was Italian.
Many thanks to Julie for indulging me as we hiked up a couple “little” hills and steps to find the church that is said to be built over where St. Anthony was born. The outside of the church is undergoing renovation but the inside was beautiful.
