The day has finally arrived when we must go home. This holiday was exactly what we both needed and in the place we needed to be. Portugal is a beautiful country with some of the most friendly people I think we have ever met.
Over the course of the past 13 days, we walked 131,670 steps (61.34 miles) and climbed 113 flights of stairs. Given all the amazing food and wine we drank, it’s a good thing we were on the move.

It has been another fabulous AOH adventure and in typical fashion, we have started talking about 2019. Spoiler alert...we’re thinking Prague and Budapest.
